Case Study: Pete's Pops

From a few push carts selling uniquely flavored popsicles at local Wisconsin farmer’s markets, to a full-fledged business operation, Pete’s Pops has gained a lot of attention.

When Milwaukee entrepreneur, Pete Cooney, decided to take his business to the next level, he opened his first brick and mortar store on the city’s largely-overlooked west side. Hoping to build a point of pride in the up-and-coming community, he knew he had to dream big.

After incorporating a customer hang-out area with a garage-door style window, he just needed the ‘wow’ factor of an exterior colorful enough to reflect the fun, flavorful pops that he makes from scratch. Pete combined a different colors of Millennium Forms closeout material to transform the entrance into one of Milwaukee’s head-turning, must-see spots.
